Jake Gleason, MPT, OCS , opened FullMotion Physical Therapy in 2008 in San Juan Capistrano. Jake graduated from Long Beach State University in 2003 with a strong emphasis in orthopedic care. His masters program consisted of courses in advanced biomechanics, advanced orthopedic assessment and treatment, orthotic and prosthetic fitting, casting and management just to mention a few. In June of 2005, Jacob’s graduate research project on dynamic assessment of the patello-femoral joint with musculoskeletal ultrasound was published by The Journal of The American College of Sports Medicine. Additional training in 2005 consisted of advanced Australian mobilization techniques, Kinetic Chain assessment and treatment, Certification as a Certified Weight Trainer and 2 courses in advance assessment and treatment of the throwing athlete. In 2006, Jake received his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist distinction.
From 1994 to 1999 Jacob attended the University of Nevada, Reno where he volunteered and worked as an assistant in multiple outpatient and inpatient orthopedic rehab settings including Carolyn Junta Physical Therapy and Saint Mary’s Hospital. Upon graduating with distinction with a BS in Health Sciences.
